Debs Make Over, My Ethos, Me!

"My goal has and always will be to make people feel beautiful, no matter how much or how little work it takes"

Had my first actual debs client today! I've had a few of your smiling faces in my chair for trials but this is the first one that I'm going to get to see real debs pictures from! Can you tell I'm excited? I'm like a chuffed mom, watching her little one go off. This is the beautiful Alannah, she is wearing an all black dress (hopefully I'll pop up some pictures if she doesn't mind) and she was an absolute treat to work with. Beautiful brows, beautiful shaped eyes! Literally a dream client! Hopefully I will be able to come back to you during the week and tell you that she had an absolute dream of a time!

Full debs make up special offer of €25.00 is running from now until the September 13th

I also decided I'd show you MY face on a typical day where I have clients. Although some (twats who can't even apply liner) like to post things about 'real make up artists' working with no make up on you will never get that with me. No matter how tired, sick, sore I am - I would never, have never and will never let someone arrive to my door and find me with no make up on. I'm selling my skills, my service, myself. How is someone to trust me with their appearance if I don't put effort into mine? Maybe it's because I've been through too many years in the beauty industry or maybe it's just been the way I've always worked. No matter the reason it's how it will always be.

If you've had your make up done by my recently you will probably be getting a little message soon as I'm re-vamping my blog! I'm adding more content to 'recent work' and I'm trying to gather some client testimonials! I received my first one today and it nearly made me cry, you have no idea how happy it makes me to make other people happy. (I won't say who it was) but I was in my house one day doing a client and after she left my dad came into my room and looks at me with the biggest confused looked on his face. 'I never really got make up. I mean you spend bloody hours doing it but now I do'and I'm thinking what the hell? 'That girl walked in here with her head down and barley made eye contact with you when you opened the door and now she's left with the attitude of a celeb about to go on the red carpet, how did you do that?'.

People think my job is fake, portentous, a waste of time. I've said from day one with this blog and with working free lance I've had one goal and that has never and I hope will never change. I want to make people feel beautiful. If that means finding them great skin care? great. If that means doing a full glamour make over? great! If that means just shaping someones brows and putting on a few individual lashes? THAT'S GREAT. I will always do what ever I can do to make sure that when you walk out of my door you walk out the best version of yourself that you can be. No one should ever be ashamed to want to look or feel different.

"Nieces wedding early August so just had to have my make up done professionally to look fab for the big day. I arrived at Kelly's house completely void of any make up (unusual for me, I never leave the house without it). After viewing the most make up I have seen any one person own, I climbed the stool and we discussed the colour scheme. Kelly began to work her magic and what seemed an age but was only 30 minutes, she had completed a master piece. I took a look in the mirror and I was beaming from ear to ear. I was so happy with the look Kelly created for me, it was pitch perfect. Whilst Kelly told me it would stay in place all day and night, I didn't believe her but she was right, it didn't budge. I was so happy with the whole experience. Thank you Kelly. Bridget xo"
