It was Mamma Murphy's birthday last week and we all decided to head out for a family meal. The morning of that dinner I stupidly decided to sit out in the back yard with my best friend for hours in the sunshine without any sunblock on, which for you will explain my red chest/face. So by the time it came around to me needing to get ready I was in so much pain that I decided to go as minimal as possible, also throw in 25degrees heat and you want as a little make up on as possible. Please guys be safe with the sun, I know it's ironic that I'm saying this when I'm also telling you that I got burned but this is probably the first time in a good few years I've been dumb enough to not put on SPF. No matter how light you think the sun is just remember the two seconds it takes you to put on some sunblock will seriously out weight the hours of pain and years worth of damage you can do to your skin! Now that my lecture is over lets get on with the make up!
As you can see from the before and after there isn't much to this look at all! I'm going to just do a really quick run through and if anyone has any questions as per usual you can email me or ask me on twitter/facebook!
(1) Prep face with M.A.C Prep and Prime
(2) Apply Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream in DARK (I had a good based tan)
(3) Pop some HD brow pallet onto your brows to give them a stronger more defined shape.
(4) Prep your eyes with some M.A.C paint pot in Bare Study. Contour your eyes with the bronzer you will later be using on your face (I used M.A.C Studio Fix)
(5) Apply some black gel eyeliner (I used INGLOT) and some mascara (I used Givenchy)
(6) Sculpt your face - I used M.A.C Vanilla Pigment to highlight and M.A.C Studio Fix
(7) Finish the look of with M.A.C 'Vegas Volt' lipstick (That I lost this day)
So there you have it, quick, easy and very little products!
