I will admit it's very rare that I wear simple make up here. When I'm in America I will go out with next to nothing on but at home it's either all or nothing with me. I broke my normal rules for this specific day so I decided to blog about it! We are going back in time to the sad day that I returned from Oklahoma. It was a day of 17(ish) hours of travel, too many tears and a lot of jet lag. Being the girl that I am I decided the best way to cure all of this was to drop my bags, take a quick shower and jump into the car with my best friend and head to a barbecue. With all of the day previous to it in mind I didn't feel like putting much effort into my appearance, so I went with something simple, easy and very SUMMER! I think I'll be rocking this look a lot when the sun (hopefully) comes out! So here is my full make up look, face chart and #OOTD!
SKIN : The sun had done wonders for my skin so believe it or not I actually had no foundation on in this photograph! I simply was living off an amazing tan and some BB cream from Garnier. Once that was all over my base I popped on some setting powder from MAC cosmetics, some liquid highlight from Collection 2000 and a bit of bronzer from the Kardashian Collection.
EYES : This look was so easy to achieve you'll laugh at me for explaining it! Took some of my bronzer I used on my cheeks into the socket of my eye to create some definition, popped on a pair of eye lashes from eBay, filled in my brows with my HD pallet and I was done!
LIPS : For my lips I used a mix of M.A.C Cosmetics 'Morange'and'Vegas Volt'.
When it came to what to wear it got even worse. I have no style, no sense of style anyway. I tend to just wear black and wear anything that's comfortable. I constantly promise myself that one day I will learn how to dress myself. So with that in mind I find it hard to look good on a normal day, now add in no sleep and half my wardrobe in a suitcase? It was going to be a disaster. I wanted to be comfortable but I also wanted to look good. Here is what I finally came up with :
Soft Black Blazer : Zara (a million and one years ago)
Lingerie Style Top : River Island
Trousers : H&M
Hand Bag : Fran & Jane
Necklace : Forever 21

With all that done, I did the brave thing of putting my hair up (it was one of the first times I ever went out with my hair up, I was THAT tired) I headed toward a great night out at a good friends house. We had drinks, a fire and everything was as much fun as it normally is when Abbey is in charge! Hope this was a bit of inspiration for how you spend your summer!
